On February 27, 2003 Mr. Fred Roger passed away. He died of stomach cancer at the age of 74; he is survived by his wife, two sons, and two grandsons. You are probably wondering why this is on an RPG site?
For more than 30 year he has been teaching us to play together and to use our imagination. Very few people grew up without watching or hearing about Mr. Rogers. That would mean Mr. Rogers had a role in shaping the youth that would become the gamers we are today.
Most gamers are children at heart, allowing the land of make believe to come alive again. This is something Mr. Rogers approved of, just because you are older does not mean you have to give up all your childhood pastimes.
Most gamers owe him a little gratitude for taking us to his neighborhood and teaching us so much. Mr. Rogers Left a legacy of over 700 episodes that are still playing today. He will be sorely missed. The world has been blessed by just having him here and having a lasting effect on people.
Goodbye Mr. Rogers from all your neighbors.
