Ages ago a great war nearly destroyed the world of Mythus. Many great countries were completely destroyed and continents sunk beneath the rolling waves. After the dust settled all that could be seen was three great land masses surrounding a continent hidden under the shadow of mystery.
This land was called the Chalcedon, or
the Mysterious Rock. It's lush jungles and jagged mountians are said to hide the
truth. But at it's center stands a dark, lone tower. It is said that this tower
is to be the home of the fallen lord who aims to destroy all that is left of the
world. It is also rumored that this tower holds the last shred of hope for all
of Mythus.
Aleut is in the process of rebuilding itself fter recently
gaining independence from Capere, though unlike th Aleut of old, it is quickly
becoming Mythus's first democracy. The legendary High Elf, Tannhauser Na'Dir has
reappeared in Eleusia with plans to reunite the elven people against the dark
hand of Taal Zodo. Taal Zodo's forces seem to be losing ground, being pushed
back towards Capa City for what would seem to be a final showdown. As if in a
desperation move, Taal Zodo has changed the name of Capere into New Xodia, and
has finally made moves to eleminate the puppet state of the Empire. All of this
is going on as accordingly to the Appocalypse Papers. Thus this also mean that
Mythus will surely meet it's doom? Or will the brave Mythians discover the truth
behind the deception and save their beloved world? Only time will tell.....
